A glass jug slips in the sink. A lid goes missing in a house move. The water tank gets scratched. None of these is a reason to throw away a working coffee maker, and yet it's what usually happens — because most people don't know the part exists.
Wilfa sells replacement parts for its UK range, from an £11.20 jug lid upwards. Carafes, servers, filter baskets, water tanks, shower heads, grinder burrs, ground catchers and mixer bowls are all available separately. You'll need your model number, which is printed on the base of the machine and listed in your manual.
This is the step that saves a return. Wilfa parts are model-specific, and several machines look similar without sharing components.
The model code is printed on a label on the base or the back of the appliance — something like CM9B-T125 or WSFB-100S. If the label has worn off, every UK model's manual is on the product manuals page, with the model code alongside each one, so you can match by machine name instead.
Worth knowing: the Precision and the Svart Performance share a glass carafe. Most other parts don't cross over.
| Part | Fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Thermo jug, 1.25L | Performance Thermo | £75 |
| Replacement server | Svart Performance (WSPL-3B) | £75 |
| Replacement server | Performance Compact | £35 |
| Replacement server | Classic+ | £35 |
| Jug with lid | Zense | £35 |
| Filter basket | Svart Performance | £30 |
| Filter basket | Classic+ | £25 |
| Water tank | Performance Compact | £25 |
Smaller parts are listed too — water tank lids, server lids, sprinkler and shower heads, filter holder covers — most of them between £11 and £25. The full set is in accessories and spare parts.
| Part | Fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 58mm flat burr head | Uniform | £50 |
| Ground catcher | Uniform Silver (WSFP-100S) | £35 |
| Replacement cover | Uniform | £17.50 |
The burr head is the interesting one. At £50 against £305 for the grinder, replacing burrs turns a grinder that's genuinely worn out into one that's effectively new. Before you buy one, though, clean the grinder thoroughly — a build-up of coffee oils produces exactly the same symptoms as worn burrs, and it's free to rule out.
| Part | Fits | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Stainless steel dough hook | ProBaker range | £114 |
| 7L mixing bowl | ProBaker range | £120 |
| Tool adapter | ProBaker range | £99 |
| Flexi beater paddle | ProBaker range | £50 |
The adapter isn't a repair part so much as an upgrade — it lets many Kenwood Twist accessories fit a ProBaker, which opens up meat grinders, pasta rollers and vegetable slicers without buying a second machine.
The arithmetic is obvious enough — £35 for a server against £229 for a coffee maker — but there are two other reasons.
The machine is usually fine. Motors, pumps and heating elements are the expensive parts and the ones that rarely fail first. What fails first is glass, plastic and things that get dropped. Replacing those is repairing a working appliance, not propping up a broken one.
It's the point of a five-year warranty. Wilfa builds to a five-year warranty — ten years on the motors in the ProBaker Stand Mixer and the Powerfuel blenders — and that commitment doesn't mean much if a broken lid retires the machine in year two. Wilfa is an Eco-Lighthouse certified company, and keeping appliances in service is a larger part of that than the packaging they arrive in.
Some things aren't spare-part territory. If your machine has developed an internal fault — most visibly, a Wilfa button that blinks rapidly and won't clear — there's no user-repairable part and no authorised repair route. That's a warranty claim through the retailer you bought it from, with your receipt.
The five-year warranty applies to everything bought after 1 September 2020, and you don't need to have registered it. Our guide to the warranty sets out what's covered and what isn't, and the fault-finding guide will tell you which of the two you're dealing with.
Can I buy a replacement carafe for my Wilfa coffee maker?
Yes. Replacement servers and carafes are available for the Performance Compact and Classic+ at £35, the Svart Performance at £75, the Zense at £35, and the Performance Thermo's thermal jug at £75. Check your model number on the base of the machine before ordering.
Where do I find my Wilfa model number?
On a label on the base or the back of the appliance — a code such as CM9B-T125 or WSFB-100S. If the label is worn, the Wilfa product manuals page lists every UK model's code alongside its manual, so you can match by machine name instead.
Can I replace the burrs in a Wilfa grinder?
Yes, on the Uniform — the 58mm flat burr head is £50. Before buying, clean the grinder thoroughly, because coffee oil build-up causes the same loss of performance as worn burrs and is far more common.
Are Wilfa spare parts covered by the warranty?
The five-year Wilfa warranty covers the product including its parts against manufacturing defects. It doesn't cover breakage from dropping, normal wear, or consumable items such as filters and batteries — those are what the spare parts range is for.
Do Kenwood accessories fit a Wilfa ProBaker?
Many Kenwood Twist accessories do, using the Wilfa ProBaker Tool Adapter, which is sold separately at £99. That includes meat grinders, pasta rollers and vegetable slicers.
Most retired appliances had one broken component and a working motor. It's worth two minutes on the spare parts page before you start shopping for a replacement.
