Wilfa Partners up With Edd Kimber!

Wilfa is excited to announce that baker, TV personality, and six-time book author Edd Kimber is officially our Global Ambassador!

“I like to partner with brands I use and genuinely like,” Edd said. “I want to recommend brands that actually help the homemaker.”

Edd may be most famously recognised for competing in and winning season one of The Great British Bake Off. However, Edd’s appreciation for baking goes back a lot further than some of his more recent achievements.

“It was something I was doing from a very young age with my mum and my grandmother,” the baker said. “It definitely runs in the family.”

Edd regularly spreads his knowledge and expertise at cooking schools and at food festivals all around the globe. He has also written for several publications, including Olive Magazine, BBC Good Food, The Guardian, Buzzfeed, and many more.

According to Edd, being a contestant on The Great British Bake Off opened a number of new doors for him. Food writing, in particular, was a slightly different path that just so happened to align with Edd’s interests and personality.

“I wanted to show people how easy baking can be and how much fun it can be to make things from scratch,” he said.

Edd first learned about Wilfa through his brother, who is a coffee lover and gave him a Wilfa Svart Grinder, which Kimber has been using for years now.

Edd’s passion and dedication towards creating and sharing complex baking techniques and recipes with the world is something that we deeply admire here at Wilfa.

Over the next few months, we look forward to sharing more of his knowledge, amazing recipes, as well as tips on how to get the finest results from your Wilfa products.

Edd currently resides in East London with his partner and their dog Wesley. One day he dreams of having a big home with a big kitchen to cook in, but for now he is comfortable with his current kitchen, where he works on and develops all of his recipes.
