At Hobbs, we’re firm believers that a toasted sandwich is one of the ultimate lunch options. They’re quick, easy, and perfect for using up what’s in the fridge – what more could you want from a lunch? For many years, we’ve experimented with different bread and filling combinations, but ultimately, you can’t go wrong with a classic cheese and chutney toastie. We’ve made this delicious sandwich using our Sherston loaf, which is known for making some of the best toast in the world (verified by multiple sources!), making it the perfect choice for an outstanding toastie.

A healthy layer of your favourite chutney
Grated cheese of your choice (we went for mozzarella for the cheese pull!)
Thinly sliced fresh spring onions
Butter (gives the toastie a bit of a crunch)
